Robert Wadlow was the tallest man in the world.
I see advertisements on the city streets. Large posters stationed at the bus stop.
“Shut off his pituitary gland!” they read.
I bet he wishes the same thing sometimes.
It can’t be easy shying away from cramped streetcars,
walking erect into clothing stores.
I imagine Robert Wadlow was very lonely.
Loneliness is much more lonely looking down than
looking up.
Robert Wadlow had a delicate soul.
Being tall must have made him feel essentially and clinically small.
